One broke right away. The other was ok

When I bought the dove deodorant it came with a cucumber refill that worked fine. As soon as I replaced it with a sensitive skin cartridge it broke immediately. It snapped at the base and it unusable. My guess is that its a change in the formula that makes it more prone to breaking.

This product breaks off the holder. It lasted about a week. Too expensive for the holder and refills for it to only last a week.

Does not work.

I had these same refills from Target and had no problem, these from Amazon are defective and break, and I cant get a refund. Beware bad/defective product being sold do not purchase.

Dont bother - these refills WILL fall out regardless of how much pressure you use. Great in theory, but this is an awful product, waste of your money. Will not reduce how much plastic waste you create since youll have to constantly replace broken refills anyways.

I LOVE this deodorant! Like many others, I broke the 1st 2 refills, but it was due to user error. You can not use these the same way MOST people rub deodorant on. Instead of the wide part laying horizontal while your rub in a vertical manner (typical deodorant application), you must either lay it horizontally and RUB horizontally or lay it vertical and rub vertical. This allows less fatigue on the most delicate part of the bar. I have used these in this manner through 2 refills and havent broken them. Also, there is no need to apply a great deal of pressure, they apply well with light pressure and you natural body heat. OK, now that we have user error out of the way, I really love the way this work. There are few and far between aluminum free deodorants that work and this one is one of the few that works really well! Love the clean neat look of the applicator and all three various smells are wonderful. I lean to liking the sensitive formula the most because I would rather have little to no smell rather than a strong cover smell.

That’s it. The deodorant bar breaks upon any kind of pressure, such as rubbing along your armpit. Way to expensive for this issue.

One of them broke the first time I used it. So I was super careful. The second one broke the third time I used it. I had to throw everything away. I love the idea. But it ended up being a huge waste.

Im already annoyed that the lid wont stay on this deodorant, meaning that I still have to buy travel sizes. Then when I put on my first refill, it was too tall to snap the lid on! The deodorant is fine. Ive used it for years. The design is just a failure at every turn. Update: it broke off the base after a week. Such bad design.
