Perfect. A little bit more expensive due to its metal casing.

Great product. Easy to use. Doesnt get too hot. This unit and WireShark go hand-in-hand. I recommend it to any Network Technician. Big time saver with the zero configuration style.

Is nil. Or very very nearly nil. I have ATT Fiber 1000 and you can see...those are within the range of my test results without the tap inline (in this case between the ATT modem and my main router). I am blown away. Ive used several other consumer grade 1Gbe taps and notice anywhere from 5-25% decrease in speed. So for the price this is badass! VERY pleased. And its super convenient that I could power it off the ATT modems USB port!

Considering most search results get you 1Gbps aggregiate taps for $750+ this tap is a steal. This tap works great and its easy to use. The USB power cable is handy and convienent since you dont need to carry a power brick around. In my case I have it mounted on the top of my laptop via velcro.

Simple, no hassle, does what I expected. I prefer to plug it into a USB power adapter so not to confuse my simple-minded XP machine regarding an unexpected USB device.

This device seems to have asymmetric pass-through performance - around a gigabit in one direction but only ~400 Mbps in the other.

powerful to get capture

Works great! Ive been using it to monitor all the traffic on my home network and its been very reliable. Currently sits between my modem and router and causes no slow downs or latency problems. My internet speeds get up to 250Mb/s.

Have it setup as a passive tap and works well. The case is a little flimsy for the price and dont expect it to hold up all that well as a traveling companion for pentesting.
