> 3 dayThis bag is excellent quality and despite my comments below, I have ZERO regrets for purchasing this. I purchased the 40L version as my referee gear bag, and it has plenty of room for all of my gear plus my winter jacket (when Im out on the field working). Easy to clean if it gets muddy. There are a number of small refinements I would make if I manufactured this, however Im likely not the typical consumer for this bag. 1. I wish it had bigger pockets - both inside and the external ones. Also, if I compare it to the dry bags I use for scuba, it would be really nice to have some Velcro on opposing sides of the top of the closure to help it stay closed. 2. Also, Ill echo another reviewers comment - why only 2 D-rings on opposing handles? Im sure it would bring the price up minimally to add the other 2, and the added flexibility would be great. 3. Last small refinement - there is a set of straps that buckle across the top of the bag. Well, the male ends are on the same side of the bag (and the female ends on the other side, obviously). It would be super-awesome if they put one male and one female on the same side, so that when they arent strapped over the top of the bag, they can be connected on the (same) side of the bag such that they dont dangle and swing all over the place. You *can* connect them around the ends of the bag, but you cant really cinch them up without wrecking integrity of the flatness (and therefore seal) of the opening at the top...so they still flop around. Again, these are just refinements. The bag is otherwise perfect - nothing gets wet, even in sideways rain. One of the things I love is when all the other referees are messing with putting their bags inside garbage bags to stay (somewhat) dry, and theres mine looking great and not trashy (pun not intended, but works anyway).

> 3 dayGreat bag for traveling light through Europe in the rain. Strap clips were plastic, and seemed to be straining under the weight of the bag, but that was my only real issue. There was no failure, would recommend.

Greater than one weekI recently took the Duffelsak on a 4 day kayak camping trip. All of my supplies--tent, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, clothes, cooking gear, snacks, toiletries, spare shoes--were stored in the Duffelsak and secured with straps on back of a Diablo Amigo sit-on-top kayak. The bag worked flawlessly through numerous full submersions. All in all Id say the bag was fully submerged ~10 times and partially submerged ~12 times with zero leakage. Ive done the same trip before with Sealline bags and they leaked. I especially like the accessibility of the bag. Ive done the same kayak trip multiple times with 3-4 smaller (20L) Sealline bags and much prefer the horizontal access provided by the duffel. The duffel makes it super easy to access all of your gear at once rather than having to unload an entire smaller bag to get to the gear at the bottom. Plus the compression straps on the Duffelsak allow you to pack minimize the profile of the bag to take up less space. I cannot speak to durability, as Ive only taken the bag on one trip. I will update this review after extended use. The only improvements I would suggest are to remove the clear ID card slot. It didnt cause any problems but I feel like it is the weak point in the bag as far as possible leaks go. If you really need to put an ID card on it Id prefer to remove the clear built in slot and just tie/clip on a separate ID card pouch. Id also look into adding an air release valve so you can remove air trapped in the bag while compressing it. I make these recommendations with the provisio that these are simply suggestions and not actual problems with the bag. If youre looking for a waterproof gear bag for camping, hiking, traveling, etc. Id highly recommend Sak Gear. You cant beat the quality at this price point.

> 3 daySo far so good. Only one problem. One of the ratchet straps does not hold tight, but the rest are good. It definitely holds a lot.

> 3 dayI dont review products often. This bag has exceeded all expectations, and is still 100% after 5 years of abuse. I work, play, and travel in marine environments. Minimal wear and tear and I dont baby it. Overall size, quality, and design are top-notch. I frequently get compliments and always recommend it. Bravo Sak Gear!

> 3 dayThis is the best bag I have ever bought I actually use it on my motorcycle i travel and female and I overpack. I Ride a Can Am With new saddlebags in it attaches to my backseat perfectly it is so durable I ride through all storms in weather and has never leaked awaited to purposely write this review until I had it in used it several times I need to find more in different sizes for when Im not packing for several days I would love to have a smaller bag but I have the giant one For when I go away for several days or more This really is a fantastic bag you can use it as a book bag you can tie it down you can use it for everything my daughter even borrowed it and used it on an aeroplane she wished it had a zipper I personally like the fact that it does not and it rules down because it seals itself and I think thats better than a zipper I dont think it would keep water out if it did not

> 3 dayMy husband and I packed for a weekend aboard a center console. It was splashed on and rained on and our contents were DRY. Very roomy too and easy to open up and see contents. Thick material that should hold up for a long time.

> 3 dayThe bag has 4 small zipped pockets two internal, one on either side of the exterior. It’s roomy enough for my coldwater swim gear and seems durable. Other openwater swimmers were interested in getting one too as it’s waterproof.
