I love bourbon and have been on tours of distilleries throughout the Southern United States, mostly in Tennessee & Kentucky. That being said, this soap does not smell like charred bourbon barrels, or even bourbon. In my opinion, the smell is a combination of sandalwood, amber, cracked pepper and maybe a little vanilla. Opinions are going to vary, but the scent is not bad at all. While being very powerful when you smell the bar of soap, the scent is more subtle once it is on the skin. The bar of soap itself is huge and lasted me about 25 days. I am a big guy, 6 0 and 360 pounds. The scent lasted in the soap down to the final little nub that I used. All in all, a good product with a good smell. You need to remember, this product will smell differently on different people thanks to every persons unique body chemistry. Would recommend and will purchase again after the other two bars are gone.

This bar of soap is large, has a variety of scents, and is the favorite soap among the men in my family. I dont think theyll ever go back to a regular bar of soap. This soap comes in a variety of scents which allows everybody to have their own bar of soap. No complaints from this mom!
