I really enjoy this keyboard, tactile and not too sensitive. My only nit-pick would be it only has yellow color on the LEDs. Other than that, I have no complaints on this keyboard. It has held up great after about a year.

For the money this is a great option with hot swap switches and easy modibility. When fully modded it sounds decent. This does not quite match the enthusiast options so if you are not as limited on budget consider keychron or novelkeys options.

Not really a keyboard expert here, just wanted to follow this mechanical keyboard trend and get something pretty, cheap and with a nice switch sound, I have tried a few and this one it’s the better by far, I love the size, the weight it’s really portable and precise, definitely not a keyboard for competitive gaming but it will work with ocasional gaming with a pretty decent response and touch, also love the rgb effects it has a good variety to pick from The only bad side for me must be the cable, I prefer the cable to be on the middle so I can hide it better through the mousepad and the monitor, but being on the side doesn’t look that bad, I’m also planning on getting a coiled cable so it’s ok

great keyboard if you really just wanted a mechanical keyboard and pretty lights. the options on the lighting is pretty cool. wish you could change the colors but its just fine for the money. i got this on sale for 20 dollars instead of the regular 40 and i cannot stop typing on it! ive seen some people complain about the build quality and how the keys come off, but its still built with metal. you can easily put the keys back on, not that hard. i wasnt paying attention when it asked what type of keys, so i choose the blue ones, but i absolutely love how clicky they are! if you want a SUPER clicky keyboard, then get the blue switches.

I thought that this keyboard would turn out to be a cheap membrane keyboard like many others. I read that it had actual blue switches but I just was a bit skeptical. I bought it and when It arrived and I tested it, I was impressed. For the cheap price of about $15 (Black Friday prices), you got blue switches that dont sound the best but still, they are blue switches. Once I did a few mods on the keyboard and replaced the switches, it sounded niceeee. Enjoyed this keyboard a lot. Can definitely game!

I use this with my surface pro because I hate laptop/tablet keyboards. I write a lot, and I enjoy the feel of mechanical keyboards. My biggest gripe is having to use the fn key for a lot of really common functions, like arrow keys and delete... two things I use constantly while writing. As far as gaming, I suppose it could be okay considering you really dont need to use a lot of keys, especially if you have a decent mouse. I dont game anymore, so that doesnt really matter to me. I wish I could get a decent, compact mechanical keyboard more catered to typing than gaming, but this was the best I could find. Despite its cheap price, this thing is VERY well built. Its heavy, it feels fantastic, and I was actually really surprised. It would have been 5 stars if I didnt have to use the function key for common key strokes, but other than that, its a well-made product.

Its a nice keyboard especially for 30 dollars but the hotswap is really bad its hard to put in new switches in the pcb cause the pcb is really cheap and it takes large amounts of force. I recommend using this keyboard stock because if you put new switches than their will most likely be a problem. I would not get this if you want to mod it I recommend an rk 61 or something similar to the 50 dollar price point just save some extra money and you will have a good budget keyboard to build off of.

I am a huge, Do IT YOUR SELF person. This keyboard on its own is pretty okay. Its not the best or worse, and for its price its not bad at all. As someone who bought this to mod it and change it- here are some tips and tricks i had found. 1st- This Keyboard obvisouly isnt meant to mod past Changeing Switches and Keycaps. On their own, the switches are alright and useable. They are scrachy and echoey but that isnt a switch issue but the keyboard itself. The switches themselves are really easy to break and ruin. While pulling them out they were really hard to pull and I easy broke many of them. Meaning, if you arent going to chnage the switches, dont touch them. 2nd- The Board is hard to open to mod. Many screws and they are tight on there, but after getting them off I found out why the sound of the switches is so echey and scratchy. If you want to improve the sound of your board without removeing the switches or just improveing it, this is for you. After pulling apart the face place and switch board (you can try seperateing the plate and switchboard without removeing the switches but I hadnt found a way, so from what I understand you have to remove the switches) there is a a spring on the switch board that allows for the board to bounce and be more pillowy. It gives space between the faceplate and the switchboard. I am not one to care for the flex of a keyboard, I am more interested in the sound. So I cut off the spring and added foam inbetween the faceplate and switch board. That fixed the issue completely. 3- I ended up tape modding the board and adding P.E foam the bottem to help with the echo and sound. I used Akko Cream Blue Switches and also bought new keycaps a while back that I had painting and recolored. Here are some things to know if you arent going to mod it like I had. The over all keycaps are pretty good quality. I think they are pretty light for myself but they arent bad at all. The switches are cheap and honestly I think if anything, invest in getting knew ones. The shape of the board is great. Its a low profile and have legs to make it rise more at an angle if you want it. The board is really nice for the price over all. For no customizeing and price its a good 4/5 star for me. But one issue I have found is the lights. The R.G.B is customizeable. With a app (Normal at this pricepoint). I wish the app was given on this buying page for easy access. But I found the only working link on Clay Fakers Youtube Video about the Z-11. The site is a chinese eyspc.com and you have to find the Z-11 name in the Chinese Downloads. Sadly the only download that worked for me is the regular Z-11 download that allows you to modify the keys and what they do. So for gamers this is a helpful app to use. Sadly for us that like colors, it can not be changed. Even though it makes it look and sound like you can change the colors, it does not make it obvious that this is infact only one color for the light. You can choose settings for the light. But you can not change its color. Which honestly is really sad. Overall I give it 2/5 stars for customization. For someone who likes to mod this board is not a good option.

Wish it had battery inside, but its gonna be extra bulky. otherwise its all perfect
