E3D Genuine Heater Cartridge - 24v 40w (E-HEATER-24V-40W)

How was thrown off by the white wires as well however I got my order from reputable reseller printed solid and also came with white cables, seems like e3d has switched colors, just wanted to assure whoever buys this and gets white colored wires not to worry also you could tell if its genuine e3d if there is writing on it and the ends are sealed and beveled unlike cheap Chinese which are hollow slightly

This works well in my Prusa i3 MK3S. Theres not much more to say than that. It replaced the one that my printer came with after I broke the connection to the old one when trying to hot tighten my nozzle. One thing to note is that I was sent a white one, not a red one as shown. I dont know if the items description says colors may vary, or not. And, really, how much of the cable do I see? And, really, do I even care? Also, Ive noticed that the hot end tends to shoot past the target temp by about 2-3 degrees C before settling back down. I dont remember if the old one did that, so Im just assuming it did, and that this one is no different.

I made sure I bought from the vendor others recommended to get a legit one. Works well when I needed to replace my heater cartridge on my MK3s. Would buy again if I need a replacement.

Of the two that I ordered the one that was actually a 24v cartridge works as expected. The second one that I ordered had a label of 24v on the card in the package but was actually a 12v cartridge. I didnt check the label on the cartridge before installing it in my printer and spent a ton of time troubleshooting before I took it back out of the printer and realized that it was the wrong version. I requested a replacement because I want a spare and the second one that was sent was also labeled as 24v but was again a 12v. I then had to spend time running all over town returning the two 12v cartridges because for some reason Amazon would not let me return both of them at the same location.

The two specific features I was interested in were not included in the parts that arrived. After reviewing the e3d website, the unit pictured is a new specialty e3d high-temperature heater cartridge. Of additional concern, the configuration that arrived doesnt seem to appear on e3ds site -- there is no all-white basic heater cartridge that I can find. It leaves me wondering if these are counterfeit. In any event, it has been a hassle and an unfortunate waste of time. I have returned the four I ordered for a refund. Edit -- after staring at the packages for two days, I cancelled the return rather than have to go out of my way to drop them off at a UPS store. Im sure theyre adequate for $11 heaters -- they just dont have the features pictured, and those features would make a huge difference in the utility of this product.

Does the job. Replaced my old one on a Prusa i3 MK3S that got ruined by a blob incident. The wires I got are white.

I chose an authorized reseller for this item. Mine was the white one and it works great on my Prusa MK3S+. The cable on this is a little longer than the original but its not bad.

Genuine cartridge. If you know what your buying, you will know what to expect and that this image is not right and is just the one pulled from the e3d site. This will be white and will not have a connector, it has the ends crimped into individual tips (as it comes from e3d). I got this for my Prusa Mk3s where I unscrewed the connector of my old cartridge and screwed this one in. If you are worried about it being genuine, payattention to who the seller is, not just that its shipped by amazon. I bought mine from AmznExperts who is an authorized dealer listed one the e3d site.
