I bought these to use for sending tax files to preparer (who can then keep them), for bringing my teaching files back and forth from university, and for transfer of files from an old and new computer. All 5 of the ones I received worked fine. I dont know if I would use them for important longer term backup duty - but for this price and the way they have worked so far - if you want a way to give files to someone and not have to remind them to give it back, or want temporary portable storage where you wont feel that bad if you lose them or they break, then I think these are great.

I tend to keep a handful of flash drives around for use in a pinch, so when I needed more, I found these. I was looking for something cheap, relatively small sized with decent storage capacity and these fit my requirements. I do like the metal housing and that the caps fit snugly without feeling brittle or breakable. I highly doubt a cap could slip off unintentionally which is good. All 5 drives work well and are fast enough for my needs without getting overly warm during use. I will probably purchase more of these when needed.

Its a pack of low-capacity USB drives for installing bootable OSs on, since you can get a pack of them for cheap, and you dont feel like youre wasting a lot of storage on one of these. build quality is fine.. good enough. longevity is questionable, but if youre just installing windows through these, then thats fine. being USB 2.0, theyre slow, but fine for installing an OS. Dont buy these if youre storing precious photos or music, as I wouldnt trust them with that kind of data. In that case, Id point you toward something by Sandisk or Samsung, maybe also with USB 3.0 so they arent so slow as well, and probably with more storage, 64 and 128GB drives are super cheap.

I use these for photo session deliveries. They hold more than enough. In fact I’ve had repeat clients bring the usb to repeat sessions to add to it. They’ve held up for years.

Reformat required to hold more than 4GB. Swap it from Fat32 to xFat format.
