EASTMAN Sterling Lead Free Solder, Silver, 85325 EASX1, 1 Count (Pack of 1)

Maybe I am a moron, but this led me to believe that its silver solder. I run a lot of businesses and was in a hurry, so perhaps it was my fault for not reading the fine print. But this is NOT silver solder.

Product glides nicely onto surface without clumping up. A game changer for soft soldering.

This is one of the better solders I have used. I shop around for pricing and this was a great buy.

Seems to melt at a very low temperature, and on dry fittings flows very well. But I cant tell you if it is worth the price differential over antimony solders... I wasted half the roll and a whole tank of MAPP gas trying to solder a pipe that apparently had a tiny amount of water inside. The solder kept beading up and falling off the fittings. (Impossible to drain this installation.)

Got this specifically for soldering lead-free ball valves. Perfect flow, easy to use, 410F melting point.

Takes a Lotta heat...but works okay.
