If you want to get into growing coral but dont know where to start this light is perfect for you. Its a light that grows with your needs. Plan on upgrading to a bigger tank down the road? Buy a 2nd one instead of a whole new light system. Join an ai prime Facebook group and look for someone that has the light setting youre trying to achieve. Also dont use BRSs preferred settings or you will melt your lens, their tests were not done with long term usage in mind.

I had some doubts, but after trying a budget lamp (Nicrew), I’m sold. There are some fussy aspects, like the arm connection (sold separately!) The app is also not perfect and has hidden functions (poor instructions!). And it is expensive! But... the light quality is beautiful. The app is fantastic once you figure out how to upload one of the downloadable lighting patterns. The automation of a light schedule is worth the extra money alone, over manual operation required by less expensive lights. And it looks great.

I cant personally see why people complain about this being an older model, IMO bluetooth is a lot better than some sketchy passwordless wifi stuff. Great light overall. The programmability makes up for the lack of brightness. And it can be slow ramped which is a lot less stressful on coral and fish. THE ONLY THING that Ill complain about is the lack of a mount which you have to buy seperately, an extra 50 bucks... If you dont want to drop $40 on a diffuser, a good diy option can be worked out.

Cumple con lo que prometen, pero para ser un producto tan costoso, le falta un poco de complejidad en el material que está construida. El resto es una excelente luz en cuestión de par, función de programación. Es bluetooth algo que no te especificación. No wifi.

Made 1,000 excuses not to get the Primes, so for years I continued to purchase other brands namely Redsea Reef LEDs. Then, I purchase my first Radion (G6Pro) and was so floored that I benched my Redsea 160. So I decided to give their older and much lighter brother a try. Let me say this, and I know this is 100% subjective, but in my opinion I have wasted well over $1k in Redsea LEDs when I could have bought Primes even Hydras instead. This is how impressed I am even with slightly older (Prime vs Redsea) tech.

There nothing I can say that has not already been said. This light is amazing. Get it 100% its worth it. The only downside about this and all good lights is you have to purchase a mount separately. My tank is a fluval evo 13.5.

Like the flexibility and works well on a nano. Not too powerful to burn corals and HD powerful enough on a shallow tank to put the right amount of par where I need it. Probably would have issues getting par in a deep tank. Anything more than 14 deep and probably would have a different outlook on these. They make 250~par using a sq510 or 520 forget exact model. At 10 deep I am getting 150-180 off center near front of glass. 6 deep with high flow with water agitation at the surface. Tank is a IM30 L EXT. So 36 x 15 x 12. Shipping from Premium Aquatics via Amazon is always nice to know a good name shop is selling through here. I need to rent par meter again to see what par is with just the two AIs but I like having a supplement light (had from old build) with T5s.
