I recently bought a 2011 GMC Yukon Denali. When I opened the center console it was one giant storage box that was very deep as you can see in the pic below. I wanted to be able to organize a few things so I figured I would give this a try. The tray fits perfectly, it even has a hole to run an Iphone cable through it. The tray does not interfere with the operation of the latch. Great solution and reasonably priced
