ELEGOO ABS-Like 3D Printer Resin LCD UV-Curing Resin 405nm Standard Photopolymer Resin for LCD 3D Printing Grey 1000g

Perfect for Anycubic Photon printer. I use white or grey (or mixed) for pre-primed color so I can paint the things I print.

The resin doesnt stick to the plate and just turns to sludge.. 10/10 failed prints. Could just be a bad batch i bought 2 containers but unsure if I should even bother opening the second one.

I started with this grey resin when I got my Elegoo Mars printer. It works great!! I like the light grey because you can really see the detail. Ill eventually paint over the gray but for resin cleaning purposes you can see where the left over resin resides on you model so you can further clean it. I cant wait to get the Elegoo water cleaning resin version when it comes to Amazon in November, itll make cleaning models a dream.

This is one of my favorite transparent resins for decorative pieces. The color is good, and it can be polished to a high degree of clarity. The only downsides for me are the occasional support failures and its surprisingly strong smell. Ive got an air filter in my printer, and its not enough. This is one of those cases where use in a well-ventilated area isnt a suggestion.

Can’t rate performance. Haven’t used it yet. But what I can rate is the mildly deceptive description. I thought I was buying a new resin that was more flexible and tough that the standard translucent resin I was buying from Elegoo. What I received seems to be exactly the same product I was already using. What was the “ABS-like” descriptor telling me? I will use the product as is, but may not buy it again. I need a product that is less brittle since I’m growing parts with separate and very fine details.

Just got an anycubic photon mono X and this was the first resin i tried in the new machine. i tried the settings from the webpage but those did not work, after a little testing i found for the Mono X the best setting seem to be 40 sec first layer and 2 to 2.5 secs each other layer. Once i figured that out i have had no issues since.

Adhered fine, They were translucent while printing but basically turned orange the moment uv light hit it. Going to keep trying but very let down over it not being remotely clear.

From my experience with all the Elegoo Resins, not including the water washable yet, the grey ABS-like resin is the best. It shows the details on miniatures best and is the smoothest when filtering/cleaning up, and doesnt leave everything sticky
