> 3 dayREAL giants fans and true supporters of Eli from day one will love this book. Everyone knew that it was a rough journey to the top for Eli, but until reading this book, you will never know exactly how much he had to go through.I would recommend this to any hardcore Giants fan who cant get enough inside information. The book is well written and has alot to offer in terms of insider anecdotes, a must have for the true Giants fan.

> 3 dayall is thank god for tivo and fast foward who writes these skits. 6th graders? are yo ufunnier than a 5th grader I dont think so.. Ray Kelly for mayor .. sure 4or 8 more years of unemployement foreclosures and snobbery.. not to mention a police state like you wouldnt believe something like that Sylvestor stalone movie where he goes to the future with wesly snipes.. Not that any liberals or progressives would mind much. Put a microphone in front of them and theyre gandi and pete seeger but they love police brutality and the police state and New Yorkers never protest or complain just go with the flow..

> 3 dayThis book was written earlier in Elis career with an update after the Giants won their second Super Bowl with him as quarterback. The book is mostly written from details from teammates and the Giants former General Manager without much if any input from Eli. If you are looking to find out what Eli was thinking during his early career struggles or even in key games you will be disappointed. Also throughout the book the author repeats the same quotes from various people several times, as if he couldnt find anyone else or new information to add to a particular chapter. Youll get some background and other tidbits about Eli that you may not have known, but overall this book leaves you wanting much more than it delivers.

> 3 dayI like Ralphs Blue Screen blog and I liked his writing and TV appearances while I lived in NYC. So buying the book was a no-brainer especially since I was a Eli supporter since the day we drafted him. Its good and I expected a lot of inside details about Eli and we got some... but compared to LTs book and other sport books, it doesnt feel like Ralph had enough inside access. I skimmed a lot of Plaxicos book and even that was pretty good because you can tell Plaxico is giving us every single detail according to his view. Pretty good but it lacks the first-account stories and insight as if Eli wrote it himself or was involved.

Greater than one weekRalph Vacchiano, the respected sports writer for the NY Daily News, offers up a poignant behind the scenes look at the career of Eli Manning. His book follows Elis remarkable career from Ole Miss to the San Diego Chargers (where he spent all of 45 minutes) before finally landing in New York with the Giants. Amid unbelievable scrutiny and criticism, Eli perseveres in the face of adversity to lead his team to a stunning win in Super Bowl XLII. The inside scoop on the famous Draft Day 2004 trade that brought Eli to New York alone is worth the price of admission. Quite simply, a must read for all Giants fans.

> 3 dayA well written book for football fans. Finally, Ernie Accorsi is vindicated! This book explains to the football nation exactly what goes into the drafting of a college standout. Cudos to Ralph Vacchiano for telling the truth about a previously maligned draft deal.
