Everything else works fine with this glue, except WHY is its color purple? I believe most of the time people apply the glue on white paper. The purple color raises my eyebrow every time I use it. Although it has not happened, I am always concerned that the purple glue will show on the other side of the paper. I still have 6 glue sticks to go!

Elmers glue sticks are the absolute best! I will only ever buy these and I dont doubt why teachers prefer these over other brands. The disappearing purple makes them even better when my little ones put more than necessary. This was such a great deal too, I only wish Id ordered more!

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND EATING!! When I first received the product, I read on one of the sticks that says “Safe, Nontoxic”. So my first thought was to take a bite out of the stick. At first it was actually kinda sweet, but then when the after taste came, it was god awful. My airways started to close up so I had to spit it out. Other then that, easy to glue with!
