Elmers Disappearing Purple School Glue Sticks, Washable, Jumbo Size, 40 Grams, 3 Count

I use this glue on my glass 3D printer bed and it is amazing. Since it easily washes off with cold water, it makes clean up quick and easy. I recommend this to anyone who is 3D printing on a glass bed with PLA or ABS as an easy way to get the filament to stick to the bed while making it easy to remove after the bed has cooled.

Works well for 3d printing. Im still a bit suspicious about the safety of the purple indicator chemical but washes away with water easily.

I bought this pack after reading so many reviews that fellow 3D printer operators use this. Im adding to the number; These glue sticks are EXCELLENT for application to my 3D printers build plate. Im using 6 inch painters tape with glue applied from one of these sticks, and my printed parts either barely warp or they dont warp at all. Im still on the first stick of this pack of three but when Im on the last stick I will certainly buy more!

These glue sticks are great for 3D printing! The large diameter makes it easier to cover more of the printing bed without missing spots or creating thick spots. The purple color which turns clear, makes it easier to tell when the glue has dried. It doesnt leave a colored residue on the prints unless I cake it up on the build plate. Im sure I will be ordering more in the future

this glue works well enough. however, one needs to work very, very quickly. almost as soon as you apply the glue, the glue dries within seconds. this quick drying is fine for small applications, but if gluing together larger pieces of paper, youll never be able to apply enough before it dries. can be kind of frustrating.
