> 24 hourThis is a product aimed squarely at beginners: it all starts off from the very beginning, which is no bad thing, and takes things slowly so that you become competent and fluent, and it will boost confidence. Naturally, if youre after a refresher course, this is not for you.

> 24 hourReally good programming on this, but have to warn the consumer that you need a MIDI keyboard to fully appreciate everything this has to offer. That said, I would highly recommend.

> 24 hourThis is great if you are about 5 years old, its just the emedia version with a piano for dummies badge, I was very disapointed, it looks old and still has bugs.

> 24 hourThe trouble with this is that it sounds horrible. One of the best things about learning piano - as opposed to say violin - is that you can make a lovely sound almost immediately. But the simpified fingerings leave out the notes that everyone remembers in say mary had a little lamb so that the tune jars on unfamilar notes and the tinny electroonic piano sounds are just horrid. I got this to suppplement learning with the suzuki method (which is wonderful) and this was so depressing by comparison. I see it could be useful as a reminder on all the technical details but the audio lets it down. AND you need a midi keyboard - walking away and trying it on the real piano will sound nicer but doesnt really work,...

> 24 hourPurchased for my 8 yr. old. He has music lessons at school in which he is learning to read music and I wanted to expand on that basis. Setup took 1 minute and was ready to go! I walked through the chapters and they appear to have a very well thought out sequence (Chapter 1 - BLACK KEYS, using 2 and 3 row keys), Chapter 2 (WHITE KEYS). It has a virtual keyboard on the computer screen (click of the button) when want to see the virtual KB play back the lesson (it highlights the KB and the notes on in the lesson). It also has a video tutorial (click of the button) for each lesson/section/page of the chapter. I learned things in the 1st chapter that I never knew about playing the piano.
