This looks good to have in addition to two fire extinguishers. Hope never to use! Arrived very quickly.

So much quicker and easier, especially for a grease fire. You dont have to grab an extinguisher, remember how to use it, assume its not expired. And hope you do that fast enough. Just whip out the blanket, toss it on fire, and its out. Great to carry in car, engine fires dont happen often, and in my case its always coming up on some one else having the experience. These blankets are so quick to spread out. Works for runaway campfires, dont risk a wildfire.

Hopefully will never use them....however what I reviewed about them eliminates most of the cleanup after use.

I hope i never have to use these fire blankets. But its always good to have them on hand. Plan to keep one in the kitchen and one in my truck. Wish I had one of these years ago. While traveling down Interstate 95 south near Ashland, VA, the engine in my Fiat caught on fire. This blanket sure would have been handy to throw over top of my engine. Who knows, I might be able to help some else in need on the highway.

i bought these for safety issues...for piece of mind. it comes in a two pack and at an affordable price. i put one in the kitchen for possible fires in that area and especially for the house in general. the other i put in my tool box of my truck in those times that i go camping or go on trips for emergencies. they are also compact, they come in their pouch that is around 12X7 give or take so it doesnt take much room at all.
