> 24 hourI dont typically write reviews unless something exceeded my expectation, or was huge disappointment When a company packages their product with such care along with a note asking for my honest review how can I not! I purchased 10 of these in different colors and sizes to replace 6yr old contractor grade rusted and warped covers. This company clearly takes pride in their product, as they should! They are absolutely beautiful, extremely well made with ALL metal construction, all at a very reasonable price point. I almost didnt buy because of a previous review regarding the directional flow tab being too exposed. Not the case, yes the tab sticks up a bit when the air flow is angled, but nothing extreme, and these covers are typically positioned so close to the wall, I cant imagine anyone finding it inconvenient. The antique copper goes perfectly with my bamboo floors, as do the nickel in our bedroom, pops nice with all the drawer pulls and curtain rods. I absolutely love them against the tiled areas in the house! So theres my honest review, speedy delivery, thoughtful packaging, and impressive quality!

> 24 hourThese are sturdy and aesthetically pleasing registers, one thing popped out at installation. The rotation lever sticks out and is a bad shape considering how well made they are. If you install these in high traffic area, I wouldn’t want to step on the lever (see picture attached. I’m surprised for how well made they are This detail was overlooked. Otherwise very nice and worth the extra money if you can afford it.

> 24 hourThe black painted registers go great with my other cast-iron returns, and four registers. I bought 2 the 2 x 12 to use under my cabinets in the kickplate. I liked them so much. I bought two more. The registers open and close easily, I can open and close them with my toe and not have to bend down to adjust them. Best quality I’ve seen in a stamped steel register.

> 24 hourThese floor vent covers are very well-made and came in sturdy, protective covering. I had standard registers, also metal, but they didn’t have the design flair that these vent covers supply. It’s amazing what a design difference the upgraded covers provide! One problem though- I ordered the brushed nickel and they shipped me black registers. They actually look very nice with my Brazilian cherry floors so I decided to keep them. Also, I went around the rooms where I am replacing these covers and did make an accurate count- but two of the registers (in bathrooms) are a smaller size. My bad. So, if you order vent covers be sure to look at the measurements for each one. I’ll be ordering 2 of the smaller ones and then more of the larger ones for my second floor. They are a little pricey but very well made and I’ll definitely never need to replace them again.

> 24 hourThis wasnt much more expensive than the run-of-the-mill air vent covers, but is much sturdier, prettier, and comes well packaged. We have it in a bathroom ceiling air vent and it looks great!

> 24 hourOverall the appearance is an upgrade from our old vents, but the face plate is a little smaller than I expected, and the adjustment lever protrudes from the face a bit. If you step on (the lever) barefoot, its pretty uncomfortable.

> 24 hourAt first I got the cheaper brand (which looked exactly like the version I noticed at Big Box), but it turned out to NOT have a metal damper box. It was also not quite as deep. A telltale: on the Empire, the two sections are attached by screws, which are visible from the side and above. (See images.) I have never seen a rusted damper box, and I prefer longer lived merchandise, so I definitely wanted metal. This is a lightweight modern metal, but still ... The open/close lever can be easily adjusted with a foot. It may loosen up over time, but I turned it so accidental encounters are less likely. I would be willing to pay even more for direction-adjustable fins (not just open or closed), as would most people, I think. Maybe some ambitious new manufacturer will light this path (and while its at it, bring back shower faucets with flow control, not just temperature dials!) I would for sure buy this again, and in fact may, before these get changed/discontinued or become unavailable to the US market.
