These do NOT work in older light fixtures. They begin to flash. So I will have to wait until I replace our ceiling fans, which is long overdue, next week with the LED versions I just purchased. I will update my review at that time. (I accidentally clicked on the stars for warmth which does not apply since I bought the cold lights...unable to undo the click, I had to choose 1☆ as I chose a bulb with bo warmth)
