I really enjoy how ergonomic this hook is, which allows me to crochet for longer as apposed to a thin metal hook. The colour is wonderful against yarn and allows for much less straining on the eyes. My yarn doesn’t slip as much either. I’m very pleased with my Tulip hook!

The hook itself seemed to be very well structured, and I wanted to like it but it was too short & small for my hand. Had to return this and ordered a clover amour as they are longer & slightly thicker.

Me ha gustado este gancho, aunque es de los más caros en el mercado, pero vale la pena. El estambre se desliza muy bien, la forma ergonómica no lastima tus dedos. Voy a comprar otros números de esta marca. Me gusto.

I have multiple tulip hooks from a size 8 down to a size 2.75mm. They are wonderful, the yarn slides so smoothly on them and the hooked end is smooth no sharp edge to hang on any thing, they do not split the yarn and even yarn that has not been twisted works well with these hooks, I also have Clover hooks but the handle is a little to wide to suit me. My hands don’t get tired or sore and I have arthritis bd in my hands. I have no thumb joint in my right hand but I am still able to hold these and work with them easily. I have all brands of hooks, Boye, Susan Bates, some generic brands but I highly recommend the tulip brand especially the dark grey handle, next is the red ones and then the pink. The grey handle ones are gold or brass in color. I have no idea what they are coated with but they are so smooth and even though they cost a little more, in the long run you will be happy you purchased the. The hooks that that are red all over are also treated with something super slick. The pink ones I know have been treated with something also even though they are chrome in color, It may just be my imagination but I think the gold color and red feel smoother than the chrome.you can’t go wrong buying these hooks. I wasted a lot of money until I found these. Good luck with your crocheting and hope this helps you.

Of course the red is nice but more importantly the yarn glides smoothly over the point and shaft. I also like the softness of the vinyl at the thumb rest and handle.
