Etimo Crochet Hook, Size 9/5.50mm

This is a good needle it is just to short for my hands. I prefer a needle that is wider than my hand. Otherwise it is made of quality material and has a smooth working area to allow it to slip in and out of stitches with ease.

Great crochet hooks and when you use one, you know why they sell so well. I find them to be very comfortable to use and I dont feel any fatigue in my hand, even when I crochet for quite a while.

I use a 5.5 size hook the most and seem to keep losing them so wanted to order a few extra. These popped up at a 5 star review so decided to try it, I honestly do not get the hype about them, It is slightly ergonomic but shorter. I found it uncomfortable trying to crochet due to the length, did not fit well in my hand. It will be a expensive backup.

This is a great hook! The area where my thumb rests on the ergonomic handle is really comfortable. I used it with acrylic yard and it did great. Cant speak for any other type of yarn because thats all I have. I will be trying other sizes in the the etimo brand

I learned to crochet as a child but never did much with it. I do pencil hold. Over the last two years I really started again. Ive purchased straight hooks, hook sets with a common sized handle, hook sets that were ergonomic. I get tendinitis in my thumb pad and have to rest days. A compression glove was helpful but didnt end the issue. With the glove and this hook, I have had zero problems. Even without the glove, though I try to do it sparingly, I havent had an issue. The hook end is not too short that a cant do tripple or quad with it. Which honestly surprised me. Maybe the ease of movement helps. Looking forward to a whole set.
