I bought 1 gallon and was very satisfied with how it works, I bought 4 more gallons. The rust just melts away in hours or days depending on what youre trying to clean. I also had stubborn screws that broke off in my part but was able to grab with pliers after de-rusting. They came out with little effort. Will definitely buy again. Thanks.

This is a great product to git rid of rust on small parts. Its not a chemically harsh product at all and safe to the touch. In my experience, the longer you leave the part in the solution the better it comes out rust free.

This stuff works exactly as it says it does. The vise in the picture what covered in rust ( should have taken a before pic). Let it soak for 24 hours and all the rust was gone. Looks almost brand new.

This stuff works great. I am almost out of the smaller container I bought, so I bought this bigger one. I am hoping that the Evaporust Company reads this because the lid was broke when it arrived and I have looked all over the house for one compatible but to no avail.. I simply would like a new cap sent for the gallon size container.

I have a pocket knife that I abuse and dont take care of, so it gets dirty and rusty. I dump it in Evapo-rust over night, sometimes a little longetlr. When I take it out, I just rinse it, wipe it down and apply a little oil; makes it look good again!

This product works well but it take time even with light rust (48 hours or longer) be sure to rinse with soap and water. I use plastic gloves just to be safe.

So I had an engine block that had significant rust buildup in the water jackets. So much that it caused the engine to run way hot. This was a 1953 L6. So I read that this product would do the job of de-scalling the engine and eliminate rust. So I added the 128oz bottle to the engine and topped off with water. Ran the engine on and off about a dozen times over a couple day span. Then let sit for a week in the engine. Went to drain the block and the solution came out just slightly brown. I was expecting it to be black, which the label says happens when it does its job. So Im not sure if I deployed the product correctly or if it just didnt work for me. Would be willing to give it another go though.

I thought I would try this brand Evapo-Rust as it was cheaply priced with decent reviews. I’m restoring a bbq smoker and tried the product with these pieces to see how well it worked. As you can see from the pics it worked great! I highly recommend it. Because the parts were greasy from being used I just simply washed them in my hand with dish soap for about 30 seconds prior to soaking them. They soaked overnight for about 11hrs.

Works great just needs to set in solution for hours. Finding a container to put items in solution was biggest task. Used on several old tools and all moving parts worked after treatment

This worked great at cleaning up some old files and tools. Just clean off oils first, then soak the tools in a bucket with the Evapo Rust. Then clean off the residue with water, dry and spray with a rust inhibitor like
