Good power supply for the value

All of a sudden PC started crashing due to kernal power error 41 and the fan (for the power supply specifically) started sounding like a jet engine. It may have surged and damaged some of my other components. Found out there is currently a lawsuit ongoing related to this specific PSU... Avoid at all costs if you want a quiet, reliable PSU.

It’s not the best choice, but it’s still a good one especially at this price. Depending on what unit you receive, it may be louder or more deficient compared to others (that goes for any product in existence). The one I received has a quiet fan even under load. I had no missing items in the box. My only complaint is that, when BEGINNING to be under load when I load a game, there is a loud coil whine coming from the psu. After about 20 seconds it stops and it’s silent again. There is also some very faint coil whine at times, but you’ll barely notice. Odd unit I received, but it has been reliable for the past few weeks I’ve used it.

This EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G5 was a great upgrade for my setup. I previously had a Gold standard power supply from another brand. It didn’t really stand the test of time.since i was using it for crypto mining. So I ended up buying this EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G5 supply. Not only does it save me money because of its eco-switch it has on the side next to the power switch. It’s also extremely quiet. I ran db test and compared to my last system its significantly quieter. I highly recommend with product if your looking for major upgrade with an easy set up !

This is the best Modular Power Supply at the lowest price that you would want to power your desktop. This Power Supply is totally capable of running all of your internal components at their maximum efficiency. This was definitely the best purchase I could have made.

No need for a lengthy review. Its a great quality, quiet, powerful, clean modular design.

I dont have a GPU plugged up yet, and Im hearing constant coil whine that is louder than all of my fans and radiator. The cables that come with it for the GPU are also labeled VGA instead of PCi so be aware of that, confused me at first.
