18-04-2025I personally prefer corsair or seasonic, but reviews on the seasonics werent what i expected, and corsairs ax/axi (digital) units arent cheap, so reading that the G/P/T series could match them in build/component quality, so i decided to try the G+ (improved G series).

> 3 dayThe power supply is good, but I wanted something that is capable of handling SLI and overclocking. Overall it is highly recommend.

> 3 dayMy sons computer was randomly shutting off/failing to boot. The error code suggested a bad CPU, a bad motherboard, or a bad PSU.

> 3 dayThe system I built needed 437 maximum watts per the Outervision calculator. This PSU should have barely been taxed. The system was built, loaded and configured over a 3 day period and after about 12 hours of total use it shut off. It would come back on if switch was shut off then turned on but die again in less than 30 seconds. Eventually that didn’t work MOBO logs showed it was a PSU event. Amazon was great about authorizing an immediate return and credit.

> 3 dayOriginally ordered a 650w BQ, returned defective. Upgraded to the G+. Differences noted are better fit of connections, thicker wire harness straps/insulation and a more powerful fan. Very happy with this PSU. Dont cheap out on the PSU, your gonna pay for it in long run.

Greater than one weekNice PSU that has nice black modular cables and runs quiet, cool, efficient. Is larger than OEM Dell XPS 8500 PSU, which was square and was making noise so needed replacement. This replacement is longer and was a tight fit, barely able to squeeze in and has to be a little askew due to a case upper USB access panel. I had not realized there is not a standard size of these, so be aware of this issue.
