Two words: Kick ass!! Solved my power problem. Stable and quiet. Hooked up my 8 cards, stable power and plenty. Also 9 VGA ports, from the usual 6 in most < 1300W PSUs. This was an upgrade from my EVGA 1000W, so size is just about the same, 1/2 longer, but snug fit into my case.

Title says it all. The best power supplies are the ones you don’t have to think about.

Its frustrating to spend over $350 and end up with a dead PSU. Whats worse is that you will pay another $40 minimum to ship it back to get a refund, so after a refund you are wasting $40, not to mention the waste of time during the unnecessary back and fourth especially during this pandemic. Very disappointed!

I just unplugged my old evga modular psu and put this one in in a couple mins. It works good and it comes with any and every cable I could ask for! My couple year old evga 1000 watt platinum blew up a few weeks ago because of high humidity/intense condensation (I wasnt paying attention). I went to turn my pc on and a bright blue light came out of the back of the psu and I heard a loud popping. It saved all of my pc components from all damage, it took the fall and worked as it should. I decided to upgrade and I figured evga wouldnt rma the old one anyway. Im pretty happy with these power supplies.

The best. Period. As other reviewers here have pointed out - your power source is an absolutely critical component to the *performance* of your system. It is not just about having something that lasts or even system protection - a cheap spiky power source will degrade the everyday functioning of your system. It is pointless to spend $300-400 on water cooling if your PSU is spiking current to your cpu / gpu. You will forever be wondering why you are not seeing better performance.

Dunno why, but in the last month I had two brand new supplies fail in a row. Both $150 range Corsair and EVGA 850s that showed up already defective or failed within minutes. The Corsair took an entire new build out with it. The EVGA showed up with a funky 12v rail right out of the box. Doesnt say much about quality control anymore does it? These days the manufacturer name doesnt mean as much, it is the actual model that sets them apart, or not. And there is no way to build right cheaper!

Installed in my PC way back in 2014, and it has been reliable until very recently. Good noise level, and nice quality cables too.

Amazing power supply. If you want something reliable, eco system and low noise this is a great PSU. Titanium the best of the best. I recommend this to everybody who wants top notch quality. Safe your pc with a good quality power supply and EVGA is one of the best brand.

so far so good, decided to upgrade to higher efficiency rating. came from thermaltake toughpower 1000w. used it for many years. idle power was about 230w, now it dropped down to 170w with this power supply. not too bad.
