Overall, I was able to use them to get the lights hung up. I ran out even though I had more than I needed. Even though I drilled pilot holes into the wood, I still broke several of them while hand screwing them into the wood. I quickly gave up on the power tool because it was snapping too many of them. Put the majority of them in by hand and stopped about 3/4 of the way through the threads to keep from snapping more of them.

Using the supplied tool a d driving into soft wood has thus far resulted in two sheared off hooks. Hopefully the extras I ordered will last until I complete the job. I do not expect them to stand up to a strong wind much less any weight being placed upon them. Where can someone find a product that isn’t so crappy?!?

These hangers were sturdy and fit my needs to hang outdoor lights.

I needed the hooks to install the cables for a new garage door opener. I learned the hard way that if you arent careful installing the sensors for the garage door, you may break it. Thats exactly what I did and it was a painful process in trying to replace the damaged sensors. The 2nd time around, I decided to install these and looped the sensors wires through the openings. It was a success and now I have a working garage door opener! Dont make the mistake that I made and try fastening the garage door sensor wire using staples. You will damage the wire. These hooks do the trick.

I used them for hanging string lights on a hard stucco walls and it did better than my $25 drill bit! I will definitely buy them again!

These are amazing, the hooks are great themselves but besides that - the adapter that comes with it to put in your drill IS A LIFE SAVER. My husband and I installed our lights in our sun room so quickly. Made something that is difficult, VERY easy. All about the smarter not harder. We are obsessed lol. Thank you!
