Baby corn snake escaped. Good thing I found her right under the tank but she could get out so this terrarium is useless until she gets a little bigger... it’s a small tank so the point of it was to house them when they are young.

The glass in the terrarium was broke. So far its been an easy process returning the package.

It arrived 1 day late and box was very beat up but to my pleasant surprise the tank was in Excellent condition. The only reason I didnt rate this a 5 Star was because of the front lock. This is the 3rd time Ive bought this and so much easier that getting it home from the pet shop. Very well packed and most everything else is perfect. If they would improve the clasp Id give them a 5 Star. I do highly recommend these and will definitely buy from again.

This made one very, very special little girl think she had a beautiful mansion for her gecko, all equipped with double front doors. The gecko loved the hammock but thought the house could use a mate. :-)

the terrarium was broken when i got it. i sent it back and it took a few weeks to get my money back.

DO NOT BUY. DO NOT BUY. DO NOT BUY. If you want to get a broken terrarium, order one. If you want to get a replacement that comes in broken, order another one! IF YOU WANT THREE BROKEN TERRANIUMS, ORDER THREE! This is what happened to me. I understand accidents happen, but at this pops int this is ridiculous. No proper handling for such a fragile item. I didnt even have to open the third one that came in since I can hear the huge clump of glass shaking in the box.

I love Exo Terra tanks. Had one for my crested gecko, but the top screen began to rust and it was time to upgrade anyway. So far i am not impressed with the shipping. Still waiting... Even though i ordered it with prime. Its still not here within the two days.

The good: This is a great little tank for a small creature - I have a baby horned frog living here comfortably. I am a huge fan of Exo Terras terrariums. The lock is good, front opening doors are nice, the mesh on top is sturdy enough for light fixtures, and Ive had no issues with a heat pad on the glass. It was packaged neatly and there was no assembly required. The bad: I was excited for the back wall, but beware: if your creature eats live feeders such as dubias or crickets, they can climb the styrofoam. There is space between the top of the styrofoam and mesh that they can fit to hide. If they are small enough (we had quarter inch crickets for our baby pacman) they can wiggle through holes in the top! There are tiny openings used to lift the top off that we had one escape through. The simplest solution is to remove the styrofoam back wall. Crickets cannot climb the glass, so it is now cricket-proof as far as we know. If you are keeping a creature that requires regulated humidity, we found that the styrofoam also holds water. Our humidity was strangely high the first week to the point where we had to stop misting. Once we removed the styrofoam back wall, however, the humidity dropped significantly and is much easier to regulate now. The styrofoam may have been holding water. Overall: This is a great tank for a frog or gecko or smaller - the temps will be difficult to regulate for a desert dweller, such as a bearded dragon (which needs a 40 gallon minimum enclosure - Exo Terra offers them at this size as well!) We are happy with this tank except for the design flaw of the styrofoam that we unfortunately had to remove.
