> 24 hourOverall I think this is a nice product, It looks amazing the picture doesnt do it justice. The plastic has a soft texture that I prefer to the rubber on the elite controller.

> 24 hourIt looks really nice and I love the matte finish but it doesnt go on flush like the description says. I have the right controller so its not that. It doesnt go flush right where the headset plugs in. I use a turtle Beach audio adapter that plugs into the connection port next to the headphone jack. Since the faceplate is not flush it constantly makes the adapter loose and falls out on its own.

> 24 hourI was concerned that the original faceplate was going to be difficult to remove because thats what quite a few reviewer said but once again I should stop trusting that people are actually following the instructions or taking their time. However I did both and watch a few YouTube video and it was extremely easy to remove. I bought some other mods from extreme rate that I had to take many more parts off but all were pretty simple when following someone step by step in a video, even if I was a little nervous when do it. Once all the parts were put back on the faceplate just click right into place. I was hoping I wouldnt miss the grips on the original elite series 2 faceplate and even bought some new ones to put on if it really bothered me cause my hands tend to sweat a lot but I couldnt even tell they were no longer there. The back ones are the important ones and I got some red ones to match and also new the grip was better too. I wish they offered a lot more faceplates to choose from and collect cause I would buy more to swap out every now and then but I am happy with the one I got and thats all the matters.

> 24 hourI watched the company’s video on installation and found it to be misleading. I attempted to remove my faceplate but all that happened was the tool they provided wore down and my controller is now warped. My warranty is now voided for no reason.

> 24 hourPLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING. The YouTube tutorial for this, made by the company, fails to include some important tips. Before taking off the original faceplate heating it up with a hairdryer helps loosen up the tape inside just be careful because the joysticks and other metal things can get hot. For the actual review the texture is smooth but does have some grip and does Seal like it has less quality than the original That come with the controller.

> 24 hourIt feels great, install was kinda not the best, no instructions or even a paper with a link to the youtube video. But my issue is the d-pad isnt perfect. I lose a lot of inputs because the faceplate wont go down enough to properly engage the d-pad. If I can;t fix it, its useless and ill be lowering my rating and returning.

> 24 hourThe hardest part was removing the original faceplate. Once off,it was easy to fit. Dont forget to fit the other bits supplied, first. Clear instructions and link to video on how to do it. Looks pretty good too

> 24 hourInstalling it wasn’t horrible. It is a bit flimsy, so with a firmer hand it would have cracked. Finally got it together and the right thumb stick hole was not molded correctly and makes the thumb stick stiff and unable to move. Tried several times taking it apart with the same result. Waste of time and money.
