I bought this to cover some logos woven into my knee high socks and no matter how many layers I put, I couldnt get it black enough to blend in. Very disappointing.

I received this product for free in exchange for my unbiased review. This fabric ink paint provided a vibrant color for my DIY project. My family and I really enjoy creating our own art projects and like trying new paints and supplies. I was very pleased with how well this fabric ink really held its color once it was applied to fabric. It dries quickly, so you dont have to worry about waiting several hours for it to dry. When adding the fabric ink paint to each stamp it really helps to use the sponge cubes and dab the paint onto the stamp. This helps to give it a nice even layer of paint before pressing it onto the fabric. You can easily clean the paint off of the stamps, sponge cubes, and your hands by using water and a cleaning brush. I would recommend this product and this color to people creating their own projects with fabric ink paint.

This was my first experience with fabric paints. After receiving three bottles of this paint for free in exchange for my unbiased review, I decided to experiment by breathing new life into some old kitchen towels and plain white pillow cases. I also received and used the corresponding sponges, stamp mat, printing stamps, and stamp-cleaning brush for these projects. The paint colors were exactly what I expected. I found the paint to be thick (so thick that shaking the bottle didnt really do anything). I just used it as-is and I was happy. I poured the paint onto an old plastic food container lid, then used a sponge to apply the paint to the stamps. On the dish towels I wanted thin coverage (kind of a worn and distressed look). By applying a very thin layer of paint to the stamp, that is exactly what I achieved. For the pillowcase project I wanted intense color. I applied the paint to the stamp with a thicker (but even) amount of paint. I had a blast working with this paint. No fuss. No stress. I look forward to trying a more complicated project next time!

Paint is very easy to use. Applying the paint to the woodblock stamps with the sponges was extremely easy. My almost 2 year old even had fun doing it. I used both the black and the turquoise paint colors. You can adjust the amount of paint that you apply to achieve the desired shade. Very easy clean up also with soap and water. It is not at all like speedball. It is very watery. I shook it and stired it but still watery and ruined my shirts I was trying to block print on. It all squished out from the block and gives an bad look and smeared. The speedball block printing ink for fabric is a lot better.
