NOT smooth. These scissors are “glitchy”. Cutting with them, they stop and go stop and go. Maybe only good for cutting very large straight, not pattern cutting.

I wasnt able to test these but I was able to cut cloth ok and they are sharp

These are my go to scissors for cutting paper. As you cut with these you’ll notice your hand stays on top of the paper. Much easier to see what your cutting.

Needed a pair of heavy duty and scissors and these fit the bill. They work very good!

I love my scissors. A screw came a loose so I decided to return to the owner. However, one of the maintenance employee placed the screws back on and tighten them. Now I can used them again. I am so glad I did not return to sender. Hope this was helpful.

This scissor fits well with my hand. It says heavy-duty scissor but it is not too heavyweight. I feel comfortable when Im using it. The blades are sharp and I can cut my fabric nicely. There were no difficulties to cut circle shapes or edges. When I got this, there were some oils near blades, but it must be for protecting blades not to corrode.

I needed some scissors to cut a thick carpet pad. Regular scissors dont do it. These scissors cut thru about 100 feet of thick, rubber backed carpet pad pretty easily. Mission accomplished and they are still sharp. Worth the money.

These scissors are affordable, sharp and slice through fabric with great ease. I use them in fabric prep for making rag rugs. I liked them so well I have given them as gifts to my rug making friends.
