It actually provides the same sharp cut of the professional blades but with more protection. I think it’s excellent for home use. A little costly but good product.

Best price and best razor for beginning Feather Razor users. I sometimes use the regular pro blades but I always revert back to the pro guard version. Much less aggressive and more forgiving. Love the blades and the razors from Feather.

These blades are just as sharp as feather professional blades but have extra protection. I have used feather pro blades and I’ll admit they do work well but these give me a hassle free, close shave without any risk of nicks or cuts. I can shave with these on auto pilot in my single edge safety razor. Very nice blades and long lasting, I can shave about 12 times with one blade.
