> 3 daySo Im kind of a moron and didnt realize this was a straight razor with replaceable blades. I actually really like it though, because I dont have to sharpen anything. They sell a variety of Feather brand blades, and the ones I got are the Artist Club Professional blades. Replacing the blades is pretty easy, you just pinch the clip open like you would a clothes hanger, remove the blade, and pop a new one in. The clip is tight enough that the blade doesnt move and that hair doesnt seem to get wedged up between the blade and the clip (which would be gross). It gives you a really close shave and I found it was really easy to use on my neck and cheeks. I have a short beard and used it to clean up around it, and it was pretty perfect for that. I cut myself up a bunch but remember: Im a moron. With practice I think it would be pretty easy to use.

> 3 dayThe best shave every time. Quality built. Nice heft. Shaves like an actual straight razor, only better. Also, no need to strop.

Greater than one weekBought this as a birthday gift for my brother in law. He absolutely loves it. Says it has an amazing handle and is very comfortable to use.

Greater than one weekI recently began using a single edge razor from Supply, and thought that razor provided a smooth shave -- after years of using cartridge razors. But after using this razor, with ProGuard blades, I now know the true meaning of smooth. Yes, as careful as I was, I ended up with a few nicks/weepers. I didnt even feel the cuts. Remember to use a very steep angle when using this.

> 3 dayI love this thing It’s light, the blades last me several weeks, and the cutting surface is sized right for precision if required. Can’t go wrong here.

> 3 dayIve been shaving with a straight razor for 16 years and for the last two years Ive used a inexpensive barbers hair style razor because I just got tired of keeping my razors sharp. I finally decided to buy a better quality razor with disposable blades. Im only through one shave with the feather razor so my opinion may change but my first reaction is its completely different then any razor i have used before. The angle is very forced on this razor because of how little the Blade is exposed, I had to change the way I held the razor a little and it has a very soft smooth feel because the metal that holds the blade rubs you face as you shave. This isnt a bad thing its just different feeling. The only complaint Id have is that because of how little the blade is exposed cleaning the blade as your shaving is a little more difficult and when I finished shaving I actually had to use my brush under the tap to clean the blade, still far less work then keeping a blade sharpened. I think this is a great razor for someone new to straight razors or someone like me that loves the shave of a straight razor but grew tired of the work. Overall it gave me a fantastic shave.

> 3 dayVery difficult for beginners, and has little flexibility to control. Its toughness and quality are high.
