Nice plug that works well until it doesn’t. I’ve got two of these in locations that are not real close to an access point. They work great for a while but will drop off the network every week or so. Then I have to reset them and reconnect to the network. Why don’t they try to reconnect? Clearly they CAN connect, since I can reset them and then they work for a while. But sooner or later they’ll drop the connection and not reconnect. Locate these where you have a strong signal and they’ll be fine. Otherwise prepare to be flummoxed.

I own a bunch of these and they are amazing. I use them as security lights, night lights, and different holiday timers. Using the Feit app Im able to keep everything together in one place and set all the different options. Only downfall is all of the epuipment needs to be connected to a 2.5ghz wifi connection and this is getting phased out with 5G. Great bye

Was a bit tricky to set up with Alexa but has worked flawlessly since.

I was under the impression that i can turn on each outlet separately. You can turn them both on or both off. Thats it.

Great product, i started using the indoor electric outlets by Feit to power my christmas lights but the signal was weak. So i decided to change to the outdoor and now it works great. Much cheaper than buying a plug in timer.

Work good and work as it should and good price

We have it paired to our custom outdoor cafe lights, we control outdoor lighting straight from the Alexa app. We are fans of FEIT, we have all our home bulbs from Feit “wifi”.

These work fairly well. Sometimes it losses wifi connection, not sure if it’s our wifi fault, the distance it is from the hotspot or the plugs but it just goes offline. This will happen a few times a month. I find I need to reset it manually, unplugging it and plugging it back in. Although sometimes even when the device is online the timer won’t work, meaning it won’t turn on or off when we set it to in the app. We also have indoor plugs and bulbs with this band and they do the same thing. It is easy to just open the app and turn it on if need be. Also if the plug is in an easily accessible spot you can turn it off and on by the button. Overall ok but not very consistent.

Wanted to put in some wifi capable lights for outside and inside the house. Only wanted to have one brand and app, and Feit seemed to be available in the styles I wanted. Ended up with a couple of the indoor plugs as well as these outdoor plugs. Much easier to program on the app compared to setting dials or digital timers that had to be reset when the power went out, and easy to change for the seasons or if we were having a party. The app is easy to use, and it only takes a minute or two to add a new device to the system. We can turn lights on and off when traveling, holiday decorations, or just indoor lighting so lights are on when you wake up and head to the kitchen in the morning. very happy with the hardware but the app/software are what makes the system shine.

Used to connect string lights on screen porch. Easy to install app which allowed very simple integration with Alexa. No longer need to plug in cord to turn on lights. Just say “Alexa: turn on porch lights!”
