This was a good price and I am sure I will not use this tin up in my lifetime. I like to keep my leather items like new and this soap does the trick.

This product is a great moisturizer for shoes and all things it describes. I have been using mink oil forever, although this product is far superior.

I had mold growing on my reins and could not remove it with any of the leather cleaners I had on hand. But this worked wonders and made my reins look new

The container was a lot bigger than I expected but happy with it.

My dad used Fiebings (and Kiwi, too, but Fiebings - if harder to find in non-tack shops - is cheaper!) and he was raised during the depression. He never let the pantry get bare and he was frugal, frugal, frugal! And basically saddle soap is an inexpensive product that helps keep your things nicer for longer. Win-win! So, for example, you get yourself a nice pair of leather boots. You spent a chunk of cold hard cash on these babies, but they are made to last. So, start them off with saddle soap and it will look like you never drove them off the lot. Or, for example, you inherit an old hand-tooled western belt from your grandpa. Its smelly, dry as a snake and curled up like one, too. Saddle soap to the rescue! You can bring old, dirty and abused leather goods back to life! Most recently I used Fiebings to super-soften and moisturize a pair of Dr. Martens that arrived somewhat stiff, but worse, pretty dry. They look gorgeous now! Then I used it on the heel of a pair of leather sandals which had been giving me blisters. It softened the leather and also made a slick surface which allowed my heel-skin to slide instead of catch and tear. Now I can wear them more and really break them in properly! Finally I buffed up a new pair of Ariats. Granted these were in good shape on arrival. The leather was soft and oiled, but there were a couple little scuffs and with saddle soap those just disappeared. And I have hardly dented this huge tin of product. Its a fantastic bargain item. All you do is put in a little elbow grease - use a cloth, sponge or maybe a soft brush to buff the saddle soap into the surface of your leather items - and you will be glad you did. Take a cue from an old-timers way to make things last. Thanks, Dad! :-) Hope this helps someone keep their things nice!

Works great. Will treat appropriately 3 saddles if applied heavily.

Great product. I use these on my leather hunting boots and it makes them look brand new. My boots get thorn scratches and blood on them and this soap cleans and restores my boots.
