> 3 dayAfter opening the package I gotta say that I’m impressed with this recovery rope. It’s got some weight to it and the construction appears to be of solid quality. The two tone color scheme looks good and the protective covers are a nice touch. The rope itself is 20ft long and has a variety of uses: Including recovery, winch extension, tree saver, and towing. It’s great to have an all in one, however, I prefer to have dedicated items for specific roles. For me this will be primarily used as a recovery rope. This rope uses kinetic energy to help you get your vehicle unstuck, which to me is easier in some cases than setting up my winch etc. Especially if the stuck vehicle only needs a little help, this rope can make the job much easier. It is comprised of 12 strand braided nylon and offers a working load of up to 18,700 pounds. That working load can accommodate a wide range of vehicles from four-wheelers all the way up to Jeeps/trucks. If you off-road this is something that you need to have handy as part of your recovery gear. As of this post I haven’t had an opportunity to test it yet, however, once I do I’ll update my post to reflect my findings. My overall opinion of the rope thus far is positive and think it’s worth a try!

> 3 dayThis rope is an essential tool in your emergency kit. You can use it for a variety of functions including all types of towing. Its made from super strong and extra stretchy nylon. It will stand up to even the toughest jobs. It comes with a convenient case that can be used for storage and carrying. Its ideal to keep in your trunk. I highly recommend this product.

> 3 dayKinetic ropes are great when you’re trying to be a Matt’s Offroad Prodigy out on the trails or a highway ditch pull. Good value for a 7/8 rope. I can see the complaints about the carrying bag being small, however, I keep the rope under the rear seat and the bag is meaningless to me.

Greater than one weekPulled an f150 buried in sand in one pull with no damage to either vehicle. I do wish the bag it came with was a bit bigger as its hard to stuff it back in for storage, but i just use a spare duffel bag to hold it. Overall very happy and would recommend to other dudes who plan on actually using their 4x4

> 3 dayVery pleased with the quality of this recovery tow rope, you can just tell it is tough and built right as soon as you see it. So I pulled a work van out of the snow over the weekend and this worked flawlessly. I wasnt sure about the stretchy ability this rope has but let me tell you. when i tightend the slack out it didnt jerk or snap into place it gives a bit and males the initial tug to be less violent and more building pressure i guess you could say. cause once i got to the end of the stretch the van started to move not only from my forward momentum but the stretch returning giving me extra pulling force. it was way cooler than i am making it sound. Anyway went back in the included storage bag just like it came out no problem all. I went ahead a bought metal drings that make using this tow strap much easier for attachment to vehicles. i need one of these in all of my vehicles asap

> 3 dayI spend a lot of time off road both solo and with groups. I have a winch, hi-lift jack, both soft and d-ring shackles, and a selection of ARB recovery straps and tree protectors. Up until now Ive never owned a yank type strap like this that stretches. For years Ive heard how great they are but the price has always put me off (several hundred dollars for something that wont be used very often). A couple of weekends ago, I was able to test this unit side-by-side against one of my ARB recovery straps to recover someone that was very very stuck in a combination of wet sand & mud. They had buried themselves up to the axles (it was a Tacoma truck) and needed to travers about a 40 section of muck to get onto firm soil. They tried using recovery boards, but they just werent doing the trick.

Greater than one weekUsed this to pull a “short bus” out of the muck. Hooked it up to a skid steer and gave it a full force tank. Worked as designed. I had to give several pills over a long distance to get to dry land and every time it held up to the job.
