FIFA Soccer 12 - Playstation 3

We continue to be impressed with the FIFA updates! HOURS of fun! The 2012 changes are no disappointment and definitely worth the investment!

great game, the best? NO? the worst NO? I guess it really depends on how many hours you want to play soccer,as a gamer i play maybe once or twice a week for FIFA 12,If your a die hard sports fan,who wants to play online,live tournys, vs players, etc etc BUY IT, my poison is MMOs so i guess this comment is a BUST,

I have been a fan of the franchise from its inception and always enjoyed just picking it up and playing it whenever I like. However, starting with FIFA 11 and continuing on to this years version the game has become so complex that it really took the fun out of it. I dont enjoy having to learn crazy arcade like stick executions in order to perform special moves that are pivotal for winning games. But this is the state the game today, you have to watch youtube videos of the moves and put in a lot of time to study and practice them. The manual is non-existent (there is an in game manual which does not list special moves) so dont expect to find them listed in the included booklet.

Wow. just played this the last few days(for free, because Im not a sucker) and I think its safe to say that this is. the. worst. sports-game. franchise. evaaaar.(I love being dramatic(and putting stuff in parentheses)). The last time I played this was fifa10, and let me tell ya, after two years this is the exact same game. I tried but I couldnt find a single new gameplay aspect or device, not even any extras let alone improvements to the game. At least before they would add some new graphics or menus, or a new move(yay), but this is just plain lazy. But hey, if you like wasting your hard earned $$ on the same cookie-cutter game then be my guest. Actually, no dont, cuz that would just be dumb. And I really mean cookie-cutter; the plays, the goals, even the games. Its weird. And intensely dull. The people who make this series should be beaten for taking your money, as well as, previously, mine.

I liked FIFA 11 a lot and thought they would only be doing minimal year-to-year improvements for FIFA 12 so I didnt have a lot of expectations for it. The player impact engine was touted a lot and I wasnt sure that would affect game play very much.
