I replaced casters on a moveable workbench/tools storage cart I built with these, and what a difference. I didnt pay much attention to the original casters when I purchased them, but maneuvering my cart was very difficult to the point I broke off one of the casters just trying to turn the cart. After purchasing these casters, the cart is so easy to move I can maneuver and turn my cart with a finger or two instead of two hands and a lot of muscle. I highly recommend these casters if you are looking for easy maneuverability. They also do not leave marks on the floor, and they locks work great and are easy to lock and unlock.

These wheels work great. Made a cart for hauling 4x8 sheets of steel around the shop. So far no problems, rolls real nice.

Im using these castors on wooden planter boxes that are about four feet long, 18 inches wide and a foot deep. Such boxes are generally not constructed to be picked up and moved once planted, so if you anticipate moving them after filling you need to install castors. I would guess they will weigh 200-250 pounds once filled, so these castors with 1200 pound rating are arguably overkill. But I err on the side of overbuilding things. These castors seem to be robust. Heavy gauge steel, what appear to be premium wheels, ball bearings. They roll easily. Pre-cut mounting holes easily accept a #10 screw, and are in fact large enough that I installed the screws with washers to make sure screw head did not pop thru mounting hole. Note that there is no hardware supplied with the castors, but a variety of options should be readily available at any hardware store. Also, the castors do not have a brake, which for me was not an issue since my planter boxes will be on a flat deck and are not going anywhere on their own. Overall I am perfectly pleased. Highly recommended.

Seem very heavy duty, have a set on a vacuum cart I built and they roll smooth as butter on my shop floor!
