fischer 555008 DUOPOWER Wall Plug, 8 x 40 mm, Red/Grey, 100 Piece

Swear by Fischer plugs these are newer version than last ones I had but didnt dissapoint. Really good quality. Have never wasted a fischer plug 100% reliable and always find screws that go into the plugs tighten up nicely.

So far only used in plasterboard but as the description suggests, they feel secure as soon as you hammer them in. 4.5mm general purpose screw goes in nicely.

A friend gave me a few of these to try when I complained about my rawl plugs being flimsy. These work great. Ill never buy any other brand from now on.

When in need of a wall plug id only use these/brand... I used them to hand wooden blinds up which are quite heavy and i think the brackets would of supported my body weight. Brilliant even on the occasion ive trimmed one back as it was too long for the job but i will be ordering other sizes in future. Recommend 100%

Absolutely brilliant! Used these for mounting a shower onto a tiled plasterboarded wall. These can be used on so many different materials one plug suits all!
