Greater than one weekSadly somebody at Fisher-Price is coloring outside the lines...or in case of the poor little terrier, not coloring at all. The animal is molded so to have a bow tied around its neck. However, only the part of the bow that circles the neck has been colored, so that it looks like a red collar. The loops of the bow remain unpainted, so that they look like tiny tumors poking through the poor puppys fur. Before I ordered, I read other reviews noting that the paint (or whatever it is) was poorly applied. I thought, how bad can it be? Now that Im holding the farm animals in my hands I can see that while its not terrible, it is sloppy. And it makes me wonder if quality control over surface applications to these made-in-China animals is so poor, what kind of oversight is provided over the production of the materials that make up the animals themselves? Animals that go into the mouths of small children? Anyway, back to the paint/coloring/what ever it is that accents the animals features. Fisher-Price is zillion-dollar subsidiary of Mattel. And all the Little People line is manufactured off-shore so they can keep raking those zillion dollar in. So why doesnt Fisher Price take just a few of those zillion dollars and spend it on quality control? Sure, its just a toddler toy. Which is exactly my point.

> 3 dayAll photos show 10 pieces with 2 horses. Only comes with 9 pieces with only 1 horse. I wanted these to go with a barn and stable so purchased this over others because it came with 2 horses.

14-04-2025These are super disappointing. They look really cheaply made. Not fisher price quality at all. If Id seen them in person first, I wouldnt have ordered. Theyre soft, squishy plastic instead of the firmer materials our other animals are made of. The paint on them also looks cheaper. The light brown horse in the photo is older and much better made.
