I thought the remote would make it easy for me to go out on my front porch and turn the lights, that were down below about 20 feet, on and off but the range is only about 8 feet. Still, the lights look good on the hill at night. The rechargeable batteries last about 3 nights.... itd be great if they had a solar charger and a photo cell.....

Bought for decorating motor home when camping. My daughter has one and loves it and the many various ways to set the lights. So we wanted one too!!

Seems to work well enough, though I dont know how long batteries will work. I bought it to light a homemade outdoor decoration. I wish I had noticed that its not electrical, but has a battery pack.

Love these little twinkling lights on the shrubs just off my patio. I think Ill use them year round to create mood out there!

The lights dont show up very well

Just got these to put on our gate. Looks great. Remote works within 5 ft., probably due to my placement on the gate post. Would definitely recommend and wont hesitate to buy again.

More length in this case simply means more featureless, bland, and underwhelming colors (there are only four) that you have to put up with looking at. That, is why didnt even get pictures of them since I took them down faster than I put them up. If you want lights with features, decent scene options, and more controls at your fingertips there are brighter, vibrant lights other than these that you can get for less. This is the lighting equivalent to watching pain dry by listening to Norah Jones sing the phone book. Dont recommend, unless bland colorless lights are your thing....

1st string is working great. 2nd one I ordered didnt last long. This is 2nd type of these lights I have ordered and would like to fimd some that are reliable.

Great lights for outdoor use. ONly drawback is they go through batteries pretty quickly.
