> 3 dayI never saw where this helped me one bit. It could not be updated yet it continuously asks you to update it. It also has its own little virus (a sales pitch) that pops up and I cannot get rid of it. Stay away from this unless you like running out in the back yard and burning cash.

Greater than one weekFix-It Utilities 12 is a great program especially for people who are not PC experts. It has a very friendly user interface and very intuitive. No head-scratchers here. I installed it on my older computer which is running XP and it was an easy process. All I had to do was turn off my virus protection during the installation. Fix-It Utilities removes existing viruses, malware and spyware from the PC and safeguards against future infections. It prevents rootkits and keyloggers from stealing personal data. It also provides real-time protection against malicious activity with hourly updates against the latest threats. If you register your software you can also get access to technical support and important software updates.

Greater than one weekThe software was a disaster for me. As an ordinary computer user, I wanted to use this software to fasten my relatively new computer. I was happy to receive this item on time, and downloaded it as soon as I received it. Long be hold; it took the entire afternoon to down load it. After the installation, my computer froze. I decided to uninstall the program. But since the mouse was rendered useless, I tried shut down and on again for luck. Luckily, I had about one minutes of function of the mouse to get the uninstall button to work. It took all evening and night to uninstall the program. I am happy now that I get my computer back to its former condition and can read the emails and news. My advice is that if you are not a geek, dont buy this software.

> 3 dayAvanquest is one of the worst software companies I have ever encountered. They sell buggy software, refuse to acknowledge any problems, they will ignore your letters and then want you to pay for upgrades. I got conned by their hype and bought a couple of their products. By the time I realized how buggy the software was, it was too late to return them. Then I get an email which essentially said I could buy a new version that might fix the bugs. Why should I have to pay for something to fix the bugs? I emailed them repeatedly and they did a great job of ignoring me and repeatedly asking what the problem was, I then realized they were just laughing at me.

> 3 dayI purchased Fix-It Utilities Professional in a store for $19.99. The box did not say that this program was only good for 10 or 15 days. I was told by Avanquest that I did not have any pc protection and that I had to download the program again for $39.99. Avanquest customer service gave me a phone number to talk to Technical support. The phone number was a bogus phone number. This program installed malware on my hard drive which was causing many problems when I went on line. I was able to decipher the error message I repeatedly got when I went on line, I wrote the error message in its entirety. I discovered that the problem was related to Babylon I uninstalled Babylon and I resolved my problem. I have a software that leaves no traces in the system when you uninstall a nuisance download. I feel that the store that sells this product is just as culpable for not checking out a product before they sell it. I purchase Webroot at amazon.com and I find so far that it is a great product.

> 3 dayIn fact, some web pages didnt load right while using it with Firefox. The tasks ran fine, and I liked how it had Intelligence watching for problems - but I never got an alert when it was time to optimize. I think there are better fix-it tools on the market like JV Powertools,

Greater than one weekFix It Utilities is compatible to most products of this kind. I am partial to MaAfee, but decided to give this one a try. The first thing that stood out was that Fix It protects up to 5 PCs and most others only protect up to 3 PCs. The price was in the same range as other PC protections and the installation was easy. There is not much else I can say at this point...need a few months to observe how well it protects.

> 3 dayEasy to install and useful to clean your computer and keep it at optimum speed. It comes with a one year auto renew subscription. Id recommend it for a computer utility.

Greater than one weekThis product almost wreaked havoc on a brand new laptop! I bought this product in March to help me work on the registry for my old computer. It seemed to work fine back then. I installed it to my new HD laptop. It worked ok at first, but when it updated, it literally wiped every program from my PC. I had to use recovery to get it to work again. I was not sure if it was my new computer at fault. I reinstalled it and again, the patch causes the computer to erase itself. I have immediately uninstalled it from my computer.
