Fix-It Utilities Professional

Years ago I purchased Fixit Utilities, upon the recommendation of my computer repair person. It worked so well all those years ago when my office computer wouldnt boot on Windows XP that, upon my husbands computer getting stuck in safe mode after a windows update and wouldnt boot, it was an attempt to avoid a costly computer repair at our local shop (not the best). When the disc arrived, it took hours to get to the part where it could be used to boot the computer. Once I found out how to do this, not from the instruction book or Fix it Utilities, but rather google and youtube searches, I was able to get the computer to boot normally. But since the original problem, computer freezes, was still an issue, I wanted to install Fixit on the computer. This took several more hours, as the instructions in the book did not work for installation. I was finally able to install it, and register the product, however the rest of the program will not load, and I simply dont have the time. This is an awful program compared to the awesome program it used to be. And that lack of instruction was made all the more frustrating by the fact that there is no way to talk to a real person to find out why! All help is automated, and none of it applied. I would recommend using a different program rather than this one if you have computer issues. Unlike its previous version, this one is basicly trash, and thats where I will be throwing it when I drive to the local computer office to get it repaired!

I have used previous editions of this program with great success, but after installing this one and running the cleaners, the installed Microsoft office stopped being recognized, and office programs were pointed to the 30 day office trial that came with the computer.

Never could get this to work. contacted tech support twice they only contacted me back once they said firewall and anti virus was no longer included even though it was listed in the description of the product

only problem is you have to pay yearly for this. it works ok but not worth the price to re-new every year

I ordered this software for my business and loved it! My computer had been having issues with freezing. This product actually did make my computer faster. Overall I am very satisfied with how the product keeps my computer running smoothly.

did not work with windows 10.

I use my computer every day and depend on it greatly. It had slowed down recently and some of programs werent running anymore. I was trying to fix it, but it wasnt improving. I was about to give up and purchase a new computer, but thought I would try Fix-It Utilities first.

I have been utilizing this software since Fix-It Utilities 5 in January of 2005. I have continued to use it for one reason only, it works. In addition, each succeeding version has been an improvement. Obtaining a computer with good performance is easy. Maintaining that performance is difficult. Fix-It Utilities has allowed me to maintain the performance I paid for. A simple check reveals my computers optimization, security, and maintenance levels. Follow the suggested steps to keep the levels at 100% and you know your machine is good to go. I like the product and have recommended it to friends.
