Worked out perfectly

Brought an old iPad back from the dead for a few bucks. Whats not to love? Well, the ten thousand sticky glass shards you create as you remove the old screen, thats what not to love...Yikes. Once clean, the installation was a dream, but I wish I was forewarned regarding the amount of prep cleanup. Im glad I put on some protective eyewear, but had I known how brittle the glass was, I would have taped in together before I started chipping. Its not a flaw, just the nature of the beast, its very thin glass glued in place. The antenna and parts were a direct replacement and it has been working like a charm for months, no issues with touch or the screen itself.

This is the cheapest touch screen I have ever seen. I had high hopes because it was not the cheapest one on Amazon and the reviews seemed good overall and it was packaged nice and secure. I have replaced quite a few screens, this is the worst. Touch screen is non-responsive and DOA. It also has visible black lines that run horizontally. I’m sure even the apple screen has horizontal black lines but these are way too visible. Save your money and buy something else. Unfortunately I can’t return because the soonest i had the chance to fix my iPad was after the return date.

It’s the perfect fit

This kit works well and much cheaper that a tech shop would charge. Takes time and precision to affix screen flush, but the tablet screen worked well after installation.

This was super easy. A whole lot better than taking to a shop and paying 5 times the price. It took me about 3 hours to complete but was completely worth it. I highly recommend this item. You will also need to get tweezers, a nail file, some tissues, rubber gloves, and some books.

Im so disappointed! Got everything all ready and hooked up and luckily before I fastened it all down I checked to see if it worked. NOPE! FAIL! I was suspicious that I could see strings of glue in a couple places too. Ugh ugh ugh!

Wow! Highly recommended! Includes all tools you will need. Search an instructional video in youtube and you will have a new ipad again.

Half of the screen is not sensing anything. I have to flip the iPad to use that area. Also, the adhesive is not the best. Some areas are separating. When the reparing guy was removing the new replacement the black thing that get connected to the ipad broke............ ...................................................... ......update to my purchased, amazon replace the screen for me, and the one I received today is perfect. Screen work really good everything work now. Thanks so much
