Im a Industrial/Commercial Refrigeration Technician, I use this meter daily. Its a very good meter for what it does, quick checks to troubleshoot equipment. I gave it 3 stars because I have another brand open jaw meter that cost less but allows me to check resistance up to 20M. I paid 85 bucks for it.

I have several other Fluke meters and this one stacks up to the others. It is a nice size and easy to read digital display

Love this thing! Easy to use and it checks voltage, amps and continuity. Much safer than using a cheap light only tester. Great product and worth the money.

An excellent general purpose meter, when used within its limits. The ohms function only goes up to 1500 ohms- above that it reads open, which may not be true. The DC voltage resolution is in 1/2 volt increments- too coarse for some applications. A compact and reliable general purpose tool for daily use.

I am a master electrician and I use this tester daily, this truly is a product that you cannot go wrong with. The Fluke T5 is durable, I have one that has lasted over ten years and still works great! The functions are easy to use, the display is easy to read and the audible alert is loud enough without being too loud. For basic electrical troubleshooting this is the tool and well worth the money.
