Fluke T6-1000 PRO Electrical Tester

Great product - performs as outlined - and it was delivered as promised.

I strongly urge you to stick with a simple voltage tester. This thing is going to get folks hurt/killed.

Works perfectly

I use this electrical tester mostly for home needs, to check and repair electrical devices. It came with detailed step-by-step instructions, accompanied by illustrations, which I found very helpful and followed. It works as expected, and I have had no issues so far. It would have been nice if it came with a storage case. Overall, Im satisfied with the quality and durability of this tester.

I was hoping the fork was a little thinner. Works well when you can get the wire in between

Here it is, this is my 6th fluke on my tool bag. It is not the most expensive, not the one with the most features , etc. But is so convenient. Easy to carry on my belt , something to just have on me for quick measurements, without the hassle of carrying a bigger more expensive unit. The wow factor for me is the fork with non contact voltage reading and amps at the same time. Very useful for day to day use.

Update 3/2018: I’ve been working with a rep and the engineers from Fluke (I’m in the Seattle area near their HQ) and they have been quite interested and helpful in the issues I’ve identified. Met them at their HQ and discussed the issues I’ve found, and even got a tour of the assembly factory, which was quite fascinating!

Besides the T6 1000 PRO reviews being mixed in with the previous T6 1000 (non-pro) here on amazon there is still some criticism due the PRO (newer) version. After all this is their 2nd attempt to get it right.

This is probably not something everyone needs in their toolbox, but if you are one of those people that does need something like this - Fluke is the brand to trust and go to.
