Fluke T6-1000 PRO Electrical Tester

Its a Fluke what more can I say. I buy them for all my men working under me. I am an electrical superintendent at a coal fired power plant and this tool must work or your life is on the line.

I got a chance to put this to good use the day I received it. I had been putting off resolving an electrical problem that was causing intermittent power to the VHF radio in my Jeep. I was about to drive about 12 hours in each direction to visit my family for the holidays, and I decided I wanted to try to fix the power to the radio so Id have something to distract me from the mind-numbing monotony of the trip. With this tester, I was able to follow the power from the battery until it stopped, diagnose and fix the problem in about two minutes.

Its a fluke what can I say good stuff I bought the large hot wire plant I should have bought the smaller one to read the smaller wires easier

All the standard functions of this tester work great. Same great Fluke performance, ruggedness and reliability.

Update:12-30

I returned my first T6 after a lengthy telephone support session concluded with you have tried everything I can think off. Send it back. So I did and have received a replacement. Sorry to report, like the first one, the field sensor does not detect voltage. Ill be sending it back.

Just a T5 with a parlor trick for testing voltage. If it works than you are grounded so be careful. If you are non-conductive then the inductive voltage should not work. Just as accurate as a T5. Not impressed at all.
