This ribbed tubing is very flexible and doesnt really have algae build up in tube like the clear ones Long lasting and doesnt harden up like the clear tubes

Good, solid product. The only negative is that the hoses are a little too stiff. You cant bend it too much without damaging it.

It was a little wider the the one that came with the canister filter; it works fine it’s just not as securely attached as the original one was.

I used this so I wasnt committed to the 4.5 length id get in installing my 406 canister (canister isnt able to be directly under the tank) The canister is off to the side so i was able to run one hose to the other side of the tank and cutting it to custom length and still had the factory rubber hose ends to go into the aqua stop valve ong the 406 canister

Replacement hoses identical to the ones that came with the filter. We had to recut them to longer lengths so I needed two instead of the one that comes with the filter.

It works. It works well. Its actually not more expensive than the generic hose I get at the hardware store. Most importantly, it doesnt kink easily. After hooking up my inline heater, inline UV sterilizer, and inline CO2 injector, I realized how important it was to have a non kink hose in a tight space.

This is the 2nd Fluval hose that Ive used on my 306 that has sprung a leak in the hose. Im done with these terrible quality hoses.
