This is a great gift for a first time mom. It has two different designs to go with various decor. It’s made of a very cleanable surface for any spills or spit up. Mobile so they can put it anywhere as it easily folds for storage. Not super thick but it’s enough for playing on the floor. Sides are reinforced with stitching. Quality seems good for durability. Would recommend this as a must have for babies.

Amazing amount of space for baby learning how to roll or crawl. I have a baby in the 88 percentile he is tall tall (12months clothes at 5 month) he does not fit on most play mat after 3 months. This he can try learn to roll and scout around. It is very easy to clean as you can see i have a burp cloth always near by in case he spits up. It happens frequent enough that you learn.

Love this pad. It’s super cute. We have it in my daughters play area. She is almost 2 but still clumsy and we have hard floors. It’s easy to clean up any spills and also run a vacuum over. Cute designs on both sides too! It’s actually pretty large so it’s perfect for her. Would also be nice for little crawlers and babies learning to walk.

This play mat is exactly what I needed. My main purpose in buying this mat is to use in the back of my van. It seems that my daughter and I end up hanging out and playing in the back of the van in the shade while my husband works on things outside more often than you would imagine. This will be so nice to put down so I don’t have to worry about the big metal loops in the floor board where the seats fold down. And it is so much softer than the the floor of the van. Also, I sometimes babysit some of the kids in the neighborhood and one of them is just a few months old. I live in a very old home so all of the rooms are tiny. This mat will fit pretty much anywhere I need it to for baby to play on. I am really satisfied with the size and thickness as well as how small it folds up. I would definitely recommend this product

This a good mat. It’s not huge but that makes it easy to fold up and travel with it. I don’t know if mats like this are always made of this material but it does feel a bit cheap and like it could get damaged easily. But maybe it turns out to be more sturdy than I think (I will update if we have issues anytime soon). I don’t fully trust this mat to protect my young baby’s head when she rolls over (she still loses her balance sometimes and drops her head faster than I’d like) but in combination with a blanket underneath as shown in the picture, it works well (we have another mat on the way that we’ll use together with this one). My baby really likes the texture and she gets a good grip on it as well as she immediately started moving around more easily than she had previously on just blankets.

These mats are a must have if you have little ones. We already have two of these mats in our babys play area but weve had to throw one out because when you are stepping on it everyday, it starts getting worn down. These mats are somewhat sensitive to pressure so I suggest using a little more caution and not forcefully throwing big/heavy toys on this or putting heavy things that will cause a permanent dent. That said, it isnt as fragile as I am making it out to be either and weve had our previous one for about a year or so before we decided to replace it with this new one. Our toddler has stomped and ran all over the mat and the majority of the mat is fine, just certain areas with high foot traffic seemed to be worn down and flattened. Yes, although I am talking about another mat, they are basically all made from the same material, so I think it is a fair comparison and expectation of how this mat is going to be after months of daily use. I really like this one because it has reinforced and sewn edges. Most of the mats Ive gotten do not have this protective edge. This prolongs the life of the mat because the edges dont get scrunched up and misshapen. I like the gentle looking colors on this mat, it isnt too jarring. The design is gender neutral and just makes our play area look really clean. Ive never been a fan of the colorful puzzle foam mats and cannot stand the sight of those - this one is so much more visually appealing, at least in my opinion. The corners and edges are protected from getting wrinkly and squished. The measurements of this play mat is 71x59 inch, so make sure to take a look at the measurements before purchasing, especially if you plan to put up play pen gates around the mat. We actually use two of these mats to cover the surface of my babys play pen. This mat does a great job of cushioning his fall from our hard vinyl floors. Like all of these play mats, this one is also reversible so if you are bored with one side you can flip it over and get a change of “scenery”. There are grid patterns on the mat so it isnt as smooth and slippery, which is a good thing and will help give your baby/toddler some grip and friction on their feet. This is easy to clean and wipe down, especially when it comes to liquid and food spillage. It wont penetrate through the mat and will just stay on the surface until it is wiped off. From time to time Ill take the mat vertically and shake out any food crumbs that gets lodged on the grooves of the mat. It is very lightweight and easy to flip over as needed, or folded up for storage. It really doesnt take up much space when folded up for storage. Weve actually brought play mats like this with us to a hotel before and it was very easy and convenient. When we came home we just wiped the entire surface down with alcohol wipes - easy! If you are a new parent I recommend getting one or a few of these for your baby’s play area. If one is not enough coverage, get two and stack them together, side by side or slightly on top of another. These things have cushioned my little one’s fall numerous times, making it much less painful than it could have been! Please still monitor your baby when they are playing because it could still hurt depending on the angle they fall or if they fall on a toy. I also recommend getting this mat early on so you can get your moneys worth and the most use out of it. You can use it during infancy stages when baby is just sleeping on the lounger - put the lounger on top of this mat. When baby is able to roll around and kick, you can put the baby play gym on top of this for extra cushion and protection. My little one learned to crawl on a play mat like this and I just felt safe letting him explore on this surface.

This mat is very similar to others like this I have ordered. It’s a foam type material but fairly sturdy and takes a decent amount of effort to damage it. Obviously biting or sharp objects are going to damage it but normally play won’t. It’s surprisingly cushy for its thickness and feels nice to walk on. It fits perfect in the large playpen I have but my kids like to just have it on the floor and use it to build forts etc. it has a decent amount of stiffness to it so you can stand it up and kind of build with it. It has textured squares on the surface to give a little traction as well and there is a binding sewn around the edges to protect them even more from damage etc. Its easy to clean up for food spills and such and there are patterns on both sides so if one side is in rough shape you can flip it to the other to get some more longevity from it. Overall this is a great mat and I would definitely recommend it.
