Unfolding the legs is all the assembly required. It feels very solid and stable. It moves easily out from against the toilet to where you need it to place your feet. I have toilet safety rails and the stool fits when pushed back after use. EDIT: I reduced the rating to three stars from five after I tried to fold the legs. There is a couple of tabs to squeeze together to fold but I have not been able to get them to budge even slightly using my fingers. Ill need pliers which pretty much means its not easily foldable if I have to hunt up a tool.

We have a tall toilet and my legs are too short to sit comfortably, so thats one reason I purchased this. It fits perfectly and it can folded up to get out of the way for the longer legs...lol

Use so far: Like Beethoven, I have conquered several movements. I was surprised how high I had to place my feet on this guy- either I have a low toilet, or this thing is engineered more for getting a job done than serving my expectations. I love how it slides right up against the toilet when not in use thanks to the arch. Its out of the way and in no way unsightly. It has an adorable scent cabin that Ill never use.

I like that it can fold up if I want to hide it when guests may come. It sits nice and close to the toilet so it is not in your way when you are not using it. Great buy for the money!

It is sturdy works well

I was looking for the older ones that were wider and more sturdy. This is flimsy and for a kid. The air freshener thing came broke (I didn’t need anyhow but it’s ugly now). I may return it. I also think it’s too high to do the trick.

Love how it does not stick out and hold very little space and it is functional.
