Foredom 44T Handpiece Foredom Flexible Shaft Grinders - H.44T

Product is exactly what we needed and expected. Have used Fordham carving products for years, and though somewhat more expensive than other brands, we know what we are getting in quality and performance. Worth the extra cost. Thanks

Because of its maximum 1/4 inch collet size, the 44T allows one to use pa wider range of mounted grinding and sanding points, uncluding smaller die grinder points. The keyed chuck in the Number 30 hand piece tops out at 1/8 inch. I use both.

I use my foredom for woodcarving and I needed a handle that would accomodate 1/4 inch bits for removing large amounts of wood so I wouldnt have to keep borrowing them from other class members. Now I have one. Works great!

This was a replacement for one that took 45 years to die. The new grip design is even better- will pass it on to my grandchildren some day!

Handle is sturdy, handles removal of medium hardness hardwood, work well with 1/8 shanks. Gets the rougher work done with ease. Using this on walnut wood carvings.

I love the bigger chuck on this. Its great nice strong smooth and slick. Its bad ass I grind my heads with it port and polish and they look amazing.

I had a Dermal flex shaft 732 for almost 30 years and it finally wore out. A Foredom that was comparable to it was out of my budget so I purchased one from HF and this H44T. It is almost exactly as my ole Dremal in fact looks like a spin of from it. I have about 6 hours of continues heavy use and so far it works great. I use the old foot controller from the Dermal for it is heavy duty. The HF doesnt have quite the power as my old Dremal but it works pretty darn good for a hindered bucks. I did purchase the extended warranty from HF. Im going to order another so I dont have to change the collets from 1/8 to 1/4

Easy to attach.

I have a Foredom flex shaft unit and I bought two extra of these handpieces so I can easily switch between multiple tools while carving - WAY better than having to loosen, remove, pick, place, tighten a bit every time I need to change up what I am doing, especially since I am often using multiple bits with different collet/shaft diameters - makes work way more efficient to have three handpieces set up for a variety of bits. These handpieces are very well made, lightweight and reasonably ergonomic (could be better but WAY nicer than using a fat Dremel tool)

Runs smooth as butter, the ability to use 1/4 inch tools makes this a must have for me. Very little vibration and no discomfort after extended use. Good quality tool.
