Nice fabric. Good mix of coordinating colors. Nice body and thickness. This is going to make a very nice quilt. I have a few blocks done, not put together yet, but I can see its going to be pretty.

Fossil Fern is one of my favorites. Using in a quilt.

Actual colors are dull and not pretty. Fabrics look old. Do not buy if you want bright colors like in the pictures.

Was super excited to receive this gorgeous fabric. However I was shocked that the package has a sticker which states, “Check important instructions before use!” I’ve been sewing for a long time and have never seen this before. Can’t find any instructions; Benartex says they don’t know what the sticker means?!? Manager finally told me he “didn’t think fabric would bleed, but it might shrink a little bit.” Precuts of fabric like this package are intended to be used without washing to save time, thus if the fabric would bleed and/or shrink, it would ruin the project. Also, precuts cannot be washed because the fabric would ravel, distort the measurements and ruin the project. I can’t spend several hundred dollars and weeks of my time on a quilt using this fabric when I don’t know if there is a problem with it. This is doubly distressing because Benartex makes the most beautiful fabric out there!
